Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. I Corinthians 6:19
There are many things you can do to take care of God's temple, but here are just a few to do most days of the week.
Drink enough water.
Spend some time in quiet prayer/reading Scripture.
Have a friendly, non-work related conversation with a friend/loved one for at least a few minutes.
Do something nice for yourself.
Take a short walk, even if only to take the long way around to a destination you go to regularly.
Take rest breaks from time to time (even if only 5 minutes.)

Too Busy NOT to Pray!
Too busy NOT to pray! It is said that Martin Luther rose early daily to make sure he took the time to pray, because he was so busy.
Is that true of you or me? Or is prayer and quiet time the first thing to go when our schedules fill up?
Experiment for one week with making time with God be a priority. Then look back and see if you got everything done that you wanted to. Let us know in the comments what you discover!

Whining Vs. Deciding
"It is easier to whine than to decide. " Laurie Beth Jones, Author of Jesus CEO
How true this is! How often have you found yourself beginning to complain about something in your life, rather than doing something about it?
- "The house is a mess." Sigh. vs. "Time to clean up the house!"
- "I'll never lose weight." vs. "I am going to take a walk," or, "I don't need that piece of cake."
- "No one likes me!" vs. "I think I'll invite that new gal at church out for coffee."
- "I'll never get all this work done." vs. "I will concentrate on one project today and get it finished."
- "I don't have any money." vs. "That's it. I'm not using this credit card again."

It's a Mystery - by Brenda B. Covert
Isn’t it amazing how a tiny, three-letter word can cause such a big problem? We’re talking about I-T-S. It’s a word that’s easily overlooked as you proofread your own work. Its use can be quite confusing. To apostrophe, or not to apostrophe, that is the question!
It’s is a contraction of it and is. In the sentence, It’s a record-breaking year, you need an apostrophe; it’s stands for it is.
Its is a possessive pronoun. In the sentence, I love my printer, but its ink is expensive, no apostrophe is required; its refers to the printer. You would never say it is ink is expensive.
When in doubt, sound it out. Substitute it is in place of its. If your sentence sounds fine, include the apostrophe. If it sounds weird, leave it out. It’s (it is) as easy as that!
Question: Has "it's" and "it is" caused you problems in your writing?

What to Include (and not Include) in Your Email Signature
Everyday, you send out several emails. In doing so, you have an opportunity to automatically provide some valuable information and perhaps some inspiration by adding a well thought out signature to your email.
Most email programs allow you to add a signature to all outgoing emails. Here are some tips about what to include--and not include--to make best use of that space. (Understand that some items may be more appropriate for personal email signatures and some for business. Use sound judgment.)
Include:
- your name in an appealing font, either first and last or if you like to be more casual, your first
- your full name typed out under the signature
- contact info such as phone number and website
- connection info such as Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, Google+
- links to your blog(s) if that applies
Considering including:
- a line of inspiration that reflects you as a person
- a line reminding people not to print the email unless necessary
- a discreet logo that is not too large
Do not include:
- statements that are too bold about opinions and beliefs particularly if a professional email
- information that isn't at least somewhat relevant to the receiver
- an automatic closing such as "warmly," or "blessings," or even "sincerely." You would be better off just having your name appear, and then adding the appropriate, more personalized closing to each email you write. After awhile, it is easy to tell if "Blessings," appears on every email an individual sends out and that cheapens the sincere tone of the email.
Question: What do you have on your email signature?
