PowerPoint Tip
When preparing a Power Point presentation, the time to change formatting is before you begin your presentation. If you attempt to change the formatting after you have created a presentation, only information that is still in the standard format is changed. If you have made manual changes to the formatting within a slide in your presentation, that formatting is maintained. - Debora K. Thurston, CPS, SPHR

What Does it Mean to be Friendly?
What does it mean to be friendly? The Bible tells us that a person who wants friends must first be friendly themselves. What constitutes friendliness? Here are a few descriptive words:
- approachable
- warm
- interested in others
- a good listener
- not too internally focused
- being kind for the sake of kindness, not to earn some sort of affirmation or privilege
- discreet
I heard of an employee of a service organization that received a very generous tip (and it wasn't a food service organization) simply because the man was glad to finally find someone who would listen. That's a great definition of friendly.
What are some other descriptors of friendliness?
